Will America ever fall in love with muslims the same way they did with the Japanese?

Any thoughts on what advancements, technologies, attributes, etc we could possibly get from the Muslim world decades from now?

Like in key areas like Iraq, Iraq, Palestine(i think there will be a two state solution when Benji goes away) .

I honestly cannot think of anything but then again you never know.....I doubt alot of people expected in 1945, Japan would have such a HUGE influence as it has over the decade.

I can't say it's too early to say, the Islamic World is embroiled in a philosophical civil war and I'm not sure who will come out on top.

Certain countries yes. UAE and kuwait and dubai i can see america like "see...those are good arabic friends not like (insert villanous arabic country here)"

I can also see Iraq and Libya.

I think Pakistan will be the one out of all them to be the hardest to heal for obvious reasons and get our relationship back to what it was like in the 60s(if it ever gets there again).

I do expect an "Islamic Renaissance" within the next 3 or 4 decades.

I love you Japanese culture

:lawd:

@ltheghost that is the same thing folks probably said after WW2 ended. You have to realize that these things always start happening due to the spark by the youth and as we get more progressive. But it definitely will happen the same way it did with Japan. The hard thing though is trying to contemplate what these influences will be.

I am sure in the 40s when we were in the middle of our Golden Era/Classic Period of American Looney Toons Cartoons, none of us would have guessed that more than a half century later, the Japanese would have styles of animation that were a heavy influence on our own culture. There were not that many signs in that time that something like ANIME or certain GAMING SYSTEMS would emerge.

I think it will be the same with the Muslim World. The slight difference however is that the Muslim world has already influenced the world centuries earlier in the Islamic Renaissance, but I think this century they will add new aspects. We just have to wait and see what that is.

The real big difference is that the Muslim World didn't have a Nuclear weapon dropped on them. That weapon shaped Anime too. If you watch DBZ or the real early anime after the war the huge explosion from the bomb is recreated in a lot of anime. But in Muslim countries you have religion as a main guide. People will kill others for disgracing the prophet. In Japan the Emperor was the God. He surrendered after that bomb and became a figurehead with no power. They still don't have a true army today because of the surrender. But damn Japan is beautiful.

Now that I think about it your right. Was just catching up on some old Dbz earlier, and was watching the Spirit Bomb get dropped on Frieza. :troll:

Now that i think about it seems that it made bombs and explosions as a whole be a big occurance in anime.

Alot of the jihadist nut cases are reminding me of the war mongers in Japan that included the leaders and the soldiers and their obsession with fighting. Remember during that time the Japanese were thought of as "barbaric". Nowadays you won't hear that.

I know right now it may seem like the cases are completely different especially because of the difference that we have not destroyed a big part of a certain country or something, but i still believe history will repeat itself.

If i am correct, personally if you were a betting man what are a list of things you would say the influence contributions they would have on the West?

The same way Japan did with anime, manga, karate and fighting culture, karaoke, video games and gaming systems, etc and the Native Americans did with casinos

I took an Anime Art class in college and they pointed that bomb stuff out and I was like WHOA!!!!! That and the effect Disney had on Anime. They really loved what Disney was doing. But the Middle East has something that the world is always going to be after...That OIL!!! LOL

Sure if they can manage to make them an endangered species they will coopt islam and slowly begin the insidious process of changing every rule about it until some centuries later theyll say muhammed wanted muslims to sleep with animals, cosign incest and homosexuality.
