So no degree and you don't even have the cert yet?? Not surprising. Still I suggest looking into fast food or retail for a while and then networking for something better while finishing up your cert.
I got lucky and got me a nice comfy state job because I knew someone important. Don't have a degree or any certs. Started at $11 an hour working 20 hrs a week. 11 months later I've been bumped up to $15 an hour working 40 hrs a week.
