Ronaldinho is clearly "afro-____"

I think he more of an Indigenous Brazilian tribe than black. He has black in him, but whatever Native group that was in his region is probably more of what he is.

Robinho and Pele are more black than Dinho.

whens the last time you seen a field in the hood?

You dont really need a field to play soccer. Atleast not a field with the soccer dimensions on it. This is part of the reason soccer is/was so popular in third world countries is because all you needed was something to kick and an "area" to be considered a goal post. It was basically considered a sport you didn't need to spend too much money on to play. There real reason black americans aren't into it is because the USA doesn't have a real culture for it. The most popular interest of American sports were shared by both both black and white americans

Both liked basketball
Both liked baseball
Both like American football
Both like boxing

the 2 sports that stand out where interests break up are black americans like track and field sports (so do white americans but different events) but they don't fuk with hockey like white americans do.

His father looks Zambo (AfroNative) w/ slight European and his mother looks pred Afro. Ronaldinho look atleast 60% African. Not pred native.
fair enough.

Im not convinced he is predominately African, but he def has a lot of African blood.

Football(soccer) is not something you can just play after school and recreationally and expect to be elite at

In Europe and South America football academies begin developing players as early as possible
The talent pools are much deeper and there is not much of a financial barrier because the clubs pay you as opposed to kids in the us having to pay out the ass to be on a youth team

As far as black people not dominating and athleticism not being that important in football(soccer)///I think there is a coaching bias that favors attacking players who look more like the majority population which in Europe is (white)/// those uber athletes are pushed into defensive positions

Africa doesn't have the youth development of other countries
You see how a lot of the young talent in Belgium for example (lukaku benteke origi batshuayi) are all children of african immigrants who were trained in the best youth programs

Now if you take two players and you train/coach them for the same position(forward/striker/attacking midfielder) but one is bigger/stronger/faster/more coordinated who do you give the playing time?¿?¿?¿

Americans/Africans will dominate football/soccer as soon as their youth development/coaching/tactics equal the Europeans/// that will most likely only happen once Africa's economic situation improves or outside parties invest wide scale in American/african athleticism//////

But if a black dude from the US becomes one of the biggest names in the world and wants a huge contract they'll get it. Which would make it higher for those after him.

If a black kid really wanted to take over the game this would be the perfect time. With race at the forefront of things and people really starting to get into soccer for real here.

By what you're saying. The problem is money, but that problem won't be solved until someone someone comes through and changes it.
So basically you're saying a black kid

Most black kids who do this for money are usually BROKE and looking for instant gratification

Should wait and fight through what is hundred other countries and millions upon millions of other people who want this same thing to be the face of a sport that most black people in America don't even fukk with?

Because America is the only country in the world that's manged to make soccer a sport for the upper middle class. Everywhere else soccer can be played by anyone of any socioeconomic background. That's why it has wide-appeal internationally. In America only people who live in the suburbs can afford to play the game. Oh and FYI the best black American soccer player is Tim Howard not Altidore.
