I'm a young nikka so the tall tee era was in middle school, but in high school it was all skinny jeans, skater shyt, foams/j's after concords/galaxy foams dropped

BUT THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DAMN FAD

On a side note:

Not really a fad because I was the only one who did it, but I used to rock these long ass socks to gym class in different colors

:ohhh: You right. That was when the shift happened. After Party like a Rock star dropped, urban clothing started parodying White/Rock/Punk/Skater culture. Mohawks, Skinny Jeans, Vans, Famous Bandanas around peoples faces became popular with Black teens. Then Lil Wayne started skateboarding, then he dropped that pop punk rock album(with the hit single Prom Queen) that's when the shift became official. By then, Girbouxs, Baggy Jeans, Forces, Goofy backpacks, Tall Tees, and Aviator glasses were all considered:flabbynsick:

byrd gang blew up that rockstar look.

not no shop boyz song. that was after the fact.

that stuff was widespread long before '07 breh. matter fact, i even remember lil diggy at the mall trying to change his wardrobe out there in cali, and his moms was like "he wants the jim jones look". this was like 05-06.

It was a combination. Byrd Gang were rocking those Ed Hardy shirts. But all those Famous, Vans, Skinny jeans stuff came from many influences. Lupe, Shop Boyz, The Pack, Weezy, etc.

byrd gang aint rock skinny jeans.

they slimmed the jeans down but they werent skinny.

byrd gang helped change streetwear.
skinny jeans is fakkit chit.
