Dont misrepresent what im saying please. The context of this conversation is the idea that attempting to affect public policy through govt. intervention is "waiting for white folks and white saviors". Jews and Asians, whom everyone seems to love around here for their "community economics" both sought redress from governments controlled by the dominant group, and they werent accused of "having faith in white folks". Its a cheap way to shame black folks from addressing concerns through our body politic.

Furthermore, this idea that racial categories are a complete explanation for all matters of social analytic is the same type of lazy, essentialized thinking we have theoretically attempted to combat. So race is an appropriate proxy to determine who is a "devil", and who is a walking savior, correct? So those white civil rights activists who knew they were going on a suicide mission to fight for the right for black folks to vote were just aberrations? You guys are so locked into these cartoonish conceptions of life as a shortcut for penetrating thought, in which melanin is a determinant on who is the devil and who is my friend.. Lemme ask, what has every single black person done to deserve my complete faith in them having my best interests at heart?

You seem to be all over the place. You talk about a body politic which implies like mindedness and a common set of goals (a product of culture). But then state that you don't believe black folks can or even should share share a common set of goals. So who comprises this body politic thats gonna help secure resources to help black folks? Kind hearted white people fighting against their own interests?

You also manage to divorce economic clout from political clout in your arguments. Thats ridiculous...

i think another point that people need to be clear about is that political power and economic power are 2 separate things, obviously they are connected but they are still separate and one does not necessarily automatically lead to the other

you can have political power and no economic power and vice versa, i think a lot of people think that having political power will lead to economic power and that using the same ideas and tactics that lead to political power will work in economcs, which is a misguided idea

if you have a business i think its irrelevant who your customers are or who you connect with, the point is an economic plan says how we are going to set up business and what type of business

black people having or developing and economic plan has nothing to do with white people, an economic plan just tells you what you are going to do, a black economic plan does not list things that white people need to do

you have to take external forces into account. Like I said... we live in America. There are people who do not want us to succeed especially as a mass group.

We can pretend to live in a fantasy land that doesn't have to take this into account or we can remember where we are by thinking things like:
1) I know that you need a B.S. for this position, but realistically a nikka will def need a Masters to even get looked at due to crakkerism. so get an advanced degree.
2) I can't even show these crakkers that I flexed on they bytch ass last quarter... because then they will be less hesitant to say "hey blackking let me introduce you to so n so (instert corny cac laugh) he's a good guy (none are good guys, just greedycrakkers)" It's not in a CAC or Persians nature to knowingly aid black success. The others like Indians, hispanics aren't Always against us... but they are more about their own.
3) CAC own politics and fund politics... we need these zoning laws, these permits, n shyt to go our way. We are part of the most over looked voting block in the history of the world.... So how do we gain some pull?
4) etc.
5) eventually we will need to fix drug laws and the justice system.. that does tie into community and economics.

You have to take crakkers into account into all your plans - AT ALL LEVELS, because that is the option. Like I said, if we desired for this not to be the option then we should have killed the first crakkers and Arabs that tried to trade with us in history.
