Damn this is actually a tough question for me. I wanna say Heat followed by Last of the Mohicans. I also think Manhunter and Public Enemies don't get enough credit.

Thief and Collateral are his peaks for me. Good double bill too since they both work as examinations of highly skilled criminal pros.

the ending to thief is perfect:



The Insider probably his most underrated work. Public Enemies is his worse. It’s got an insane cast but it’s completely forgettable. Blackhat is messy and he keeps editing it without telling/releasing it properly but it’s got a little bit of his sauce still.
