If it was for 5+ years that was a bad move. I understand trying to test the market, but you are a midget by NBA Standards with a new crop of Point Guards coming into the league. Hell, this draft on it's own has 3 NBA Point Guards who I would rather have running the point over IT after the next 2 seasons.
Horford is soft, but that was not the perception in Atlanta. There was a nice market for his services.
IT on the other hand cannot do anything about his height...he is a big defensive liability and is already breaking down physically this post season.

he is a liability, so is every big man on the Celtics tho. The Celtics also have Avery and Marcus who both strap so they can do things to try and hide IT
But teams have told his agent he can get more than that
