Man you gotta remember that A LARGE MAJORITY of reggae and dancehall artist were into drugs and murder. Ninja Man, Buju, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley, the list goes on. These nikkas were coked out to shyt. On a side note when they put Buju and Vybz in jail it was a huge blow to the game. During the 90's....I was drawn to REAL REGGAE ARTISTS like BARRINGTON LEVY and TENOR SAW and SUPERCAT simply because of their music..hell i didn't even know what TENOR SAW or BARRINGTON looked like because thier were no videos for thier song or major promotions.....sometimes all it took was a scratchy old dubplate that they (the artist) had cut for a soundsystem to play and it was just pure bliss to listen to the music

my point is Brethren....the MUSIC ALONE was STRONG ENOUGH TO GARNER MY ATTENTION....
