The older I get, The more attractive death becomes. Is it really that bad?

in this this track he speaks on pondering death, but the difference is, this song is more about depression and pain...im speaking from a place of calmness and acceptance....not from a negative standpoint

If you got a life and thats seen as positive, why cant death be a celebration ?
why is it so sad and seen as a negative?

I'm already on that new wave, fam. Craft your own exit solution as growing old is highly overrated. :blessed:
:yeshrug: if thats what you want to do I wont talk you out of it, i understand. I couldn't commit suicide myself, Im a coward, but at the same time I dont see it as something thats negative either ...thats a personal choice

As I've gotten older and said goodbye to numerous friends and family members, I've become more at peace at the thought of me dying. I just hope my kids are adults when I go.

I like what Yoda told Anakin in Revenge Of The Sith: "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not; miss them do not." :wow:

life is crazy when you think deeply about it because if you remove time from the picture you can see how we all are voluntarily travelling on a linear plane towards inevitable death but with different realities due to our decisions and consequences

as humans we all have death drives and life drives that are inherent from birth, both life and death are apart of existence and should not be feared but that doesn't change the fact that an untimely death can be perceived as a tragedy and cause strong emotional reactions

with that being said, i do believe in destiny so technically death cannot be untimely but from the viewpoint of one that belongs to the linear third dimensional plane anything can be seen as untimely because time itself is outside of that plane, thus if a loved one of mine died i'd find it hard to react logically rather than emotionally

Depending on what you got going on in life (or lack therof) I'm sure death>>>>life for alot of people:yeshrug:

I think most people link death with pain and suffering and that's why most ppl are afraid of it. Nobody wants a long, slow, drawn-out death:sadcam:

(Technically, once you're born is when the "dying" process begins:sas2:)

If most people KNEW that they would painlessly die in their sleep, I think that fear would subside in most people. Obviously the fear of the unknown of the afterlife still rules for most people also and leaving loved ones.
