That smark crowd's reaction to RAW main event was the reason Vince don't give fans what they want

It was mostly fine but those "fukk you, Roman" chants though :picard:. Didnt see that coming
They're fed up :yeshrug:. They didn't get booker or rvd as top faces from 2002-05 when they could have, they didn't get Christian as a top name in 2005 when they could have (he got booked so badly he left entirely), Rey got booked like shyt when he was near the top of the card in 2006, there was no new name the crowd could get behind as a top face from 2007-10 except Jeff hardy who then left, they buried Christian and Ryder in 2011-12 when they got over, then they sabotaged punk and bryan from 2011-14 as best they could until punk left and bryan had to retire, they buried cesaro as deep as they could, rusev got the shovel several times over, tossed Ambrose and ziggler and Wyatt in the bushes when they were hot repeatedly, and now AJ and KO go on in the first 2-3 matches of the night so that cena and Roman only can be protected and presented as the "chosen favorites" of the crowd. If this were 1995-2001, all these people would've been watching nitro by now instead :ld:

if that's the case Brock should be booed too and even harder cause at least Goldberg talks
For the 2nd reason but the 1st reason idk. There's a lot of people today who've never seen a second of Goldberg in WCW.

I don't agree with the booing cause I actually have always liked Goldberg.

They pissed me off when Ali and Neville were putting on a spotfest clinic, and they couldn't even show them respect. That's when it jumped the shark. I'm happy when the crowd is hot, but when it becomes about them versus the product I get tilted. shyt it's their money, they can do what they want. But they could have went to a park with a TV and did the same shyt.

Its crazy how true that authority storyline really is. Chosen ones. Best for business.

The thing is it's not true. If they did what's best for business, the people the crowd wants to see would be featured as the top attractions. Those people get thrown on early and on the undercard all the time. The most true thing in here is what people regularly post. Vince came onto the stage in 2003 talking about its not about what the crowd and the tv audience wants, but what he wants. Then also some other time on raw where he says "I will tell you what to like and cheer, and you'll do it". The only heel boss angle that ever worked was Austin vs McMahon because the premise was that Vince doesn't want Austin as the top guy because he feels Austin is a poor example to carry the company because of how he talks, acts, dresses, and drinks. Storyline-wise, he didn't care that Austin was raking in the money. He didn't want Austin, even though we did. This mirrors real life Vince booking how he wants even though it chases away customers. That's what made it work. Every other heel boss angle they've run the last 20 years hasn't worked because it just boils down to the evil boss wants to stick it to the face because the crowd likes them and they want the crowd to go home unhappy. Triple h vs :bryan: was the only one that came close to making sense as an angle to run.

I've heard worse at football games.:mjlol:

If people don't fukk with the crowd, they're free to pick up their remotes and change the channel. I don't see what the problem is. :yeshrug:
Funniest part is how wwe always plays it off to tv.

Like 'Ohhh those crazy fans think they know. What they want hahaha '

I kinda understand both sides. The fans that chant want and deserve a better show but those who complain about the chants enjoy the show as is so it fukks up the immersion.

At the end of the day, they paid for a ticket (shyt wasnt cheap either) so theyre not wrong to do so. Cokeboy doesnt even seem all that bothered by it either.

The thing is that if you write characters who make sense and book them in ways that people want to see or would accept, the fans will be invested in the show. Look at the reactions rocky maivia would get. He got go away Heat. He then turned heel and became the rock. That go away Heat became heel heat. Eventually he got so over he became a face because he was such a good heel. Same thing with Steve Austin. Kurt angle was a phenomenal heel, but so entertaining both as a serious and comedic figure, that we started to cheer for him. The list of exceptions for this rule is very rare. Hogan got away with it since it was the 80's and there wasn't a weekly show. Taker kinda did because his character is one of a kind so you don't really have to change him much beyond who he has his matches with, Jeff hardy and rvd got to because they were so exciting in the ring. Punk turned off the most venomous promo since the Austin 3:16 speech. Even :bryan: worked as a face that gradually turned heel that the fans gradually came back around with the no chants and team hell no. Even :smugeddie: never had a formal face turn in 2002-03, and he got the crowd so strongly behind him that we wouldn't accept his 2003 heel turn. We just kept cheering him anyway. Even his 2005 turn saw a lot of fans still behind him. Los Guerreros were highly entertaining and they earned their stripes in the ring. Eventually the crowd stopped booing and started cheering.

Op is speaking 100% facts.

These marks are ungrateful. Just goes show you the wwe gotta spoonfeed these marks what they need & not what they want.:heh:

Shout out to Goldberg for putting all that rah rah mess to silence :salute:

You mean for bytching about how the fans don't like him for 10 minutes.

The stuff was good when he said it once, but he just kept harping on his gripes of being booed and him doing it for his family. It was meaningful the first time he said it, as he continued it just turned into whining about the response the crowds gave him.

Then he tried keeping his foot in the door on the way out, they should've kept booing the motherfukker because the reality is the fans have had their fill of Goldberg, we don't need a 50 yr old who maxes out at 4 minutes in any more main event programs.

They fell for the sappy shyt and cut the guy a break and then he got a bit giddy and wanted to keep his door open.

Go home, you had your moment
