So...why does everyone in the industry hate Drake? [Potential chatty patty thread]

Ah, there are how many record labels again? They damn near have a monopoly on the game and at the present moment Drake is there go to rapper. Nothing more or less. The game is so contrived and calculated that they know how to make a record a 'hit' whether it's a hit or not.
With that said the idiotic fans who go along with the music industry narrative are the ones I blame. They really believe that Drake is the greatest rapper ever, the same way they believed Wayne was when that narrative was presented to them to follow. In reality, Drake is just the creation of corporations who have invested millions into him. This is the same chump that J Prince and Lil Wayne both said was wack when they first heard him. People are surprised at the corporate support that Drake has gotten. Do some research and you'll probably find that the same companies are subsidiaries of his label. We should just start calling them "THE LABEL". Right now they literally have a grip on the music world. Then you have these controlled blogs and forums with paid posters to sway opinions even further. The same way they got yous thinking that J Cole and Kendrick are the top lyricists out. Both are connected to said label. Their names are becoming synonymous like Biggie and Pac's (same label) and they are put on a pedestal when really it's the same label as mentioned above.
What pisses me off the most is we have been saying from the get go that Drake is nothing more than a industry plant, (which to a certain extent is cool) yet you idiots act like he's the nicest alive. I say it's cool because there have always been plants, it's apart of the game. The problem that I have now is that they have gotten so bold with this bs that they gave us a mixed Canadian and expect us to bow down to him. On top of that they want us to believe that he's just so nice. The same label that tried to give us the female Drake, Iggy. Some other foreigner who isn't one of us.
Does everyone hate Drake? Probably on the low but can you blame them? Right now some starving artist is putting out some material that's being ignored by a blog that would rather discuss some minuscule detail about Drake vs. Meek. The same way we are doing here.

Then Future got hot so he came crawling back and invited him on tour...Then Future made that one comment about NWTS which caused Drake to kick him off the tour for like two days. And Future wasn't so hot last year so Drake pulled his verse from "Never Satisfied".. Yet this year Future hotter than ever and Drake requests to be on DS2 and gives him a verse in a day

I didn't know about Meek being mad about Drake missing his homecoming concert, but if Karen Civil is telling the truth and that is the reason why Meek is mad at him and called him out, it would make sense. It ties in with the reasons why a lot of people in the industry dislike Drake. They feel he's fake and just uses them to help him with his image and then throws them to the side when he gets what he wants. It's the same reason why there was tension between Future and Drake a while back and why there was tension between Migos and Drake. There is tinges of jealousy there, but most of the animosity towards him comes because he's not the person he portrays himself to be. Drake isn't that much of a nice guy, he's just a shrewd businessman.What he do to Migos?

Let me expand on the tension that was between Migos and Drake to give you an idea of why Drake is so disliked. Do you remember when Drake hopped on Versace a couple summers ago? Basically, Drake made them give him all the publishing for the Versace Remix so that Migos couldn't make any money off of the record. Migos were mad about this because Drake used this to keep his name hot and build up hype for his album, yet what did they receive in return? Nothing, because they couldn't make a cent. And that record was going to blow up with or without a Drake contribution. So who was he helping, Migos or himself? That kind of behavior is partially the reason why a lot of cats have got such a big problem with Drake.
