That may not work in their favor....

I mean think about it..... Yes everything is filters through Kevin but atleast everything works together and makes since when it does mix.

DC may fukk up chemistry if they let everyone have too much free reign and to their own devises.

Think WWF when Rock and Austin were on top vs WCW when Bischoff let shyt go to hell and then had that Arquette actor dude as the champ and a whole bunch of incohesive fukkery going on

I don't think so imo. A lot of Antman's praise came from the fact that it didn't "feel" like a MCU movie, same with GOTG

#We Are The Flash #DOOMSET #LukeCageSet #NEWLWO
Its also why the marvel films feel so stale and formulaic because its all running through 1 guy who ran out of fresh ideas after like 3 films.

I cant wait to see evil business guy #5 and another ship falling in the climax of a 3rd act :krs:

I dont know breh..... I mean not even talking about the actual COMIC BOOKS, but growing up.... these were some of the cartoons we watched and loved as kids and even they stuck to a similar "formula" Like I hate when it comes to Marvel how that always seems like a "shot" at them or something that comes off as a negative. There werent any complaints about this then and if it aint broke why fix it?

We just recently saw how F4 doing its own thing turned out

Every Marvel movie shares a same chemistry that makes everything feel cohesive, that should be praised more than hated, at anytime anyone can pop into any film not not feel forced.

I don't think so imo. A lot of Antman's praise came from the fact that it didn't "feel" like a MCU movie, same with GOTG

I dont know.... it felt more like they are just doing as they said "expanding on their universe". The chemistry to me felt the same, but they just changed the scale

At the end of the day, I dont think one should stray to far away from the base or foundation of what youre trying to build on cuz if done so then after awhile its not going to make sense. Its a reason why Superman and Batman had to be "rebooted" just to work together. No way in hell they couldve made Brandon Routhe and Christian Bale work in a way that would've been cohesive without being a "reach"

Thinking about it this actually makes a lot of sense too because WB has Snyder doing Justice League 1&2 and Affleck is directing the Batman solo films so the MOS sequel is going to need a new director or be pushed back even more.

Man Of Steel 2 On Permanent Hold

Although George Miller was recently rumoured to direct ‘Man of Steel 2’, it looks as though the Superman sequel may have already been canned.

Popcorn Talk, Jon Schnepp dropped a rather huge bombshell – that George Miller would be directing ‘Man of Steel 2’. But according to Den of Geek, that rumour isn’t quite on the money… and it seems the sequel may have been canned already.

“We’ve since heard from two sources that there might be substance to this rumour. They tell us that Miller is indeed in talks with Warner Bros about the possibility of taking on one of its future DC movies, though exactly what that movie is hasn’t been decided as yet… While this doesn’t rule out the possibility of Miller taking on Man Of Steel 2, another source has said that, as far as they understand it, the sequel is on ‘permanent hold’.”

Unfortunately, we’re not entirely sure what that means, at least for now.

Has ‘Man of Steel 2’ been put on hold until a suitable point opens up in Warner Bros’ super-powered schedule? Has it been abandoned completely?

Either way, it’s obvious that WB’s upcoming superhero slate is already rather crowded… and with recent rumours that Ben Affleck is getting his own Batman trilogy, it’s understandable if there just isn’t room for the foreseeable future.

Of course, the thing about film schedules and release dates is that they can always change…

Either way, we’ve got plenty of Superman appearances to look forward to in the coming years. After all, with ‘Batman V Superman’ heading to cinemas in 2016, followed by the ‘Justice League’ part one and two, there’s no shortage of the Man of Steel.

And the future of the DC movie universe is looking rather interesting.

‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ heads to cinemas on 25 March 2016.

Superman doesn't warrant his own franchise. In modern times he's just a cornball. Face facts, people know who he is but are not interested in his story.

The guy from Collider says the put on hold rumor is false because MOS 2 doesn't even have a green light by WB.
