actually musicians hated that roses shyt, andre can't sing, and big boy's CD was underwhelming, most overrated CD to go diamond

u would be amazed what u missed when the album was out

u will see why idlewild was originally dre's idea and his album was the soundtrack to the album, but once it got shelved, nobody wanted to touch it, they redid the entire movie and hbo picked it up and it changed

used to play that cd all the time. i definitely peeped the narrative back then.

i feel like most Kast albums seem way left when they come out and then when you listen back 3-4 years later that shyt sounds current as fukk. it's cliché to say of them but they were definitely ahead of their time...

i wouldn't say sad but the subject matter is not joyful though. it's basically about dude being in a relationship just out of habit eventhough they're both unhappy.
