Carmela was out for herself. The only time she put out for Tony was after buying her gifts. She was arguably ROD in the first season when she was stashing money/weapons and brandishing assault rifles on her daughter (
) but after all of the whores and lying she started sleeping with her son's teacher, would've slept with the construction worker AND stealing from Tony. Not to mention continiously trying to encourage Tony to flip. 
ehh I'ma a big Carmela fan, but I can't REALLY fault her for a lot of those transgressions....Tony was the only dude she HAD EVER been with, besides that school teacher, and dude was just going in on bytches left and right, coming home all hours, not giving a fukk....on some issues both sides were wrong, but she went against all advice, her faith, the therapist, and stayed with Tony, better or worse. Yeah, she had her perks, the deal after the separation, spec house, new porsche...but she was wit Tony 100%, win, lose, or draw.
While I somewhat agree she knew the kind of man she was marrying from jump. That whole thing in season 4 when she got so upset that the Russian bytch talked to AJ was ridiculous.

She only got back with Tony after securing a nice deal for herself in the process. Had Tony not consulted with all of the top divorce lawyers in the state who knew what would've happened. She got back with Tony because the negative stigma of being a mob wife was too much for her to overcome. Ride or Die is down no matter what. Not after you've exhausted all of your options and realize that your hands are tied.
