Klay will go somewhere like Milwaukee and ball his ass off. That boy can play and anyone who gives him that contract won't regret it, but they won't be a contender or anything. I can see Klay being similar to James Harden where he just blows up when he's gifted a team.

Every 3 pointer Klay made last season. We wouldn't give this away for a defensive liability.

The Golden State Warriors and Klay Thompson are between $2 million and 3 million per year apart in discussions for a contract extension, according to sources.

@Blackthoughts what you think about this doggy?
Thompson is seeking a maximum salary contract -- or close to it -- while the Warriors are hovering around a deal of $13 million per year.

The Warriors have until Oct. 31 to extend Thompson.

Thompson was involved in trade speculation with Kevin Love in the offseason.

can't say that I blame him when you got the likes of :bryan: gordon haywood and parsons getting the max :yeshrug:

and he's certainly better than them. warriors will have to pony up if they want to retain him. they already have steph on a bargain basement salary anyways.

Once the salary cap goes up this current mini max deal won't look as bad. Eric Gordon got a max deal so it's obvious Klay is going to get one.

warriors are being cheap trying to lowball dude. the market has already been set. plus SG's are an extreme commodity in the NBA today. they must really think he gonna take a steph contract. :aicmon:
