Warriors, Klay Thompson Apart By $2-3M Per Year In Extension Talks
Oct 09, 2014 1:04 PM EDT
The Golden State Warriors and Klay Thompson are between $2 million and 3 million per year apart in discussions for a contract extension, according to sources.
@Blackthoughts what you think about this doggy?
Thompson is seeking a maximum salary contract -- or close to it -- while the Warriors are hovering around a deal of $13 million per year.
The Warriors have until Oct. 31 to extend Thompson.
Thompson was involved in trade speculation with Kevin Love in the offseason.

Once the salary cap goes up this current mini max deal won't look as bad. Eric Gordon got a max deal so it's obvious Klay is going to get one.http://basketball.realgm.com/wireta...on-Apart-By-$2-3M-Per-Year-In-Extension-Talks
can't say that I blame him when you got the likes of gordon haywood and parsons getting the max
and he's certainly better than them. warriors will have to pony up if they want to retain him. they already have steph on a bargain basement salary anyways.
