RIP to Chris

I remember the whole apartment shaking to "jump" at a house party my sister hosted back then. Literally everyone in the party was jumping in unison and my 6 yr. old ass was right in the middle of it too.

***puts foot down***

this has to stop.

young lil wayne was never taken seriously. he was considered the weakest out of the hot boys. females and kids were the main people getting amped over him for a reason.

lets be real, if he wasn't so close with birdman, he wouldn't have lingered around long enough to meet gillie. thus, he would've faded into oblivion. and this is coming from somebody that liked wayne. even bought his 1st album; despite already borrowing it beforehand, and knowing that the album was like 40% filler.

wayne and them weren't kid rappers tho.
Damnit I dont want to take away from this thread but..
First off fukk your foot and your delusional bizarro world opinions. Wayne was never ever ever considered the weakest Hot Boy. The fukk you get that shyt from? That title was earned to that nikka Turk without question (scalp ya like a scalper). Of course the females and youngstas gravitated toward Wayne b/c he was the youngest and smallest nikka in a click full of older cats and could ride beats like crazy back then, that dont make him the weakest.
nikka go listen to Cutless Monte Carlos and Regals and see how cold Wayne rides the beat on that shyt, Block Burner, his verse on Hide Out and Ride Out on Juvy's Soulja Rags album, his verse on Neighborhood Superstar (that nikka invented the word Bling Bling on that track and it came off cold as hell), Millionaire Dream on HULT Vol.1 or 2 , his verse on Ride 2 Night on B.G.'s AOU Vol 2. It's obvious you know nothing about CMR before they went major and nikkas still believing that wack nikka Gillie who already admitted to lying about writing for Wayne?

RIP

RIP as they played a significant moment in hip hop

I was 2 when this track came out but I've heard it many times in the year. It's the only song I've only heard from them. To the older heads, were they one hit wonders (ie. MC Hammer) or did they release more big records after?

What were these guys up to recently?

:dead: hammer was not a one hit wonder. And Kriss Kross was big in 92-94 their first album was apex, the second album did ok, and the third album actually slapped but the two singles weren't that big

I said it for years, young rich and dangerous is one of the most slept on albums, JD had the live instrumentation beats on deck on that album. Rip to the M-A-C.
