If a chick has everything else going for her? Perfect teeth, body, style, career, but honestly the tooth to gum limit is not aligned. A little more gum than I (you) would prefer but not enough to completely toss her in the bushes?

fukk that shyt. I've been going to the dentist ALOT over the last couple of months in preparation for braces and I notice everyone's teeth now. Crazy how many people have gum issues and flat out plaque and tartar issues, along with the bad breath that comes with it.

I understand why people avoid getting their teeth taken care of because it costs $$$ if u don't have insurance and lets be real, it fukking hurts when you get dental work (outside of a cleaning) done.

But that shyt is damn near a deal breaker for me if your mouth game is on some other shyt

pretty sure they have a surgery where they remove that extra gum, but i agree i dont see how that's a legitimate dealbreaker for people

edit: looked it up, it's actually called "gummy smile surgery" and alot of people get it done never knew that bugged people so much

The basics of dental care are brushing and flossing...if you're a grown ass man/woman w/ plaque you might have hygienic issues.

Now if you're teeth are just fugged up, and you have a well paying job, by all means get those braces!

Fam, I think that most people (in developed nations) dont take a proactive stance when it comes to their teeth/gums because they either cant afford it or their insurance sucks, or they simply dont give a shyt. I put mine off for years because I wasnt making it a priority and meanwhile, I was taking care of myself in other areas (i.e., hitting the gym, running, etc.). On the flipside, I was trying to get a stable job with good benefits, which I didnt have before. Thankfully, a family friend, who is a dentist, is looking out for me and helping me stay on top of things and I'm getting braces soon along with other preventative things so that I dont develop some crazy gum disease, which I was showing signs of. I'm not gonna lie, it has been tough because there was a period for 4 weeks straight i went to the dentist for gum treatment and I was in so much pain to a point where I dreaded going. But its something that I needed to do
