The amount of music Price has recorded and put out is insane. I think I have maybe 100 albums and bootlegs and compilations and I still probably have a 10th of what he has put out there. The man was really music personified.

Estate advisor speaks :merchant:

from Variety:

Previously unreleased Prince music is “coming soon,” estate adviser Troy Carter tells Variety, although he declined to specify any further details about the recordings.

“He was a guy who practically lived in a recording studio, and once we started going through [the unreleased material] we really started finding some gems,” Carter, who is also Spotify’s global head of creative services, said earlier this month. “I heard some music the other night that was pretty mind-blowing and we’re getting some stuff mixed right now. We’ve got great projects in the works that I’m excited to talk about.

“So the answer is yes, there will be unreleased Prince music coming soon
,” he said, although he declined to say which label might release the recordings.

Alright here we go .

First up we have a drop of a bootleg called Peach N Black of one SOTT Tour Aftershow in 1987. IF you know your Prince history, you know that Sign O the Times tour never hit american shores.
Then we have a version of Prince's most of Sign the Times tour at a small club in MPLS September 1987.

This is what you would expect of Prince. If you've never aftershow (I doubt anyone here is in that camp right now) you get a solid examples of Prince's ability to rev up his band at full capacity even after a charged up 2 hour + show.
It's pretty cool. Although I prefer listening to tour rehearsals than the live shows. Aftershows are always a must listen for me though. :francis:
