Boyega will at least be a lead, because he is the Son of Idris Elba's character from the first movie. Plus, aside from Charlie Day, none of the actors are very known.

never knew what the original was about...this looks too much like Transformers/Power Rangers for me to take serious. im happy for Boyega tho.

Didn't realize so many people disliked the first one. Story was basic, and it did have some annoying/bland characters but the action and cgi were on point and it paid its homage to all them classic monster movies. Preferred it to that disappointing Godzilla movie.
I liked this trailer except for the end part that just looked to cartoonish. Plus the jaegars are moving at light speed compared to the ones in the first film. Look like the jaegars are attacking each other though so the plot could be interesting.
