Stephenson is gone, West will be 34, Prince George is clearly not a superstar, and the younger teams like Washington and a revamped Chicago are going to catch them. Hell even Orlando could be a problem if the stars align in the draft.

totally agree. pacers mgmt have been saying they aren't willing to go into the cap. and PG24's deal kicks in next season. which means no more lance, no more turner after this year. this is the BEST roster they are gonna have, so they better strike while the iron's hot or it's never gonna happen.

yup didn't they have PG guard him in some stretches too? they usually have to rely on George in some stretches to guard the opposing PG, dragic,curry..

Not sure about the second round thing but I do think the Pacers are playing way to hard in the regular season to not burn out in the playoffs...nikkas play every game so rigid and uptight and serious like they are about to pass a kidney stone...

And they seem to be going for that bully ball angle against the heat...that won't work...they tried it last year and it didn't...so what makes them think it will this year...Lebron still has some mental weaknesses to his game, but being able to bully him is not one of them...he broke through that wall when they beat the celtics...

Any confrontation between the heat and pacers will hinge on wades health...if wade is healthy i think miami wins in 5 or 6...

bulls are the only team with a chance other than miami, and thats still a slim one. indiana has stock piled too much talent to lose to anyone other than miami.

honestly, they should be able to beat miami too. lebron is the best player in the world but you cant trust wade will be healthy enough to play like an all star every game. the lack of size pretty much eliminates chris bosh from the series. he expends so much energy desperate trying to keep their bigs off the glass he gives nothing on offense. chalmers and cole are inconsistent, ray allen is 38, and who knows if beasly is ready for the bright lights.

if the pacers cant get it done this year, its kind of pathetic IMO.

the pacers werent nearly as good in 2012 as they are now. oden cant be counted on to play significant minutes and you know this. i hate the pacers but they have lots of things in their favor this time around.
