That's how it is when you work with white people, as a black man, including black women; when you work with white people they expect you to be the sidekick. Just look at the name of the show "Live with kelly and Michael," when Regis Philbin was on the show it was "Live with Regis and Kelly."

When you outshine the white man, including white women (in the working world and in regular life), they get mad and start throwing shots at you personally. It happened to me at my job at my old job with my white manager and I came out on top and he got fired.

I actually agree with you, but if we are speaking in generalities, black/white biracial folks in the United States are seen as black first and mixed second, especially if they clearly look like they are mixed with black.
