I was talking to someone else and he has the Firm demos too, but he's selling them, SMH
Any idea what he’s got RE Firm Demos? Wonder if it’s related to
Bro if u still got that Belly Nas and Weekend song send that to me.yeah he's the guy I've been emailing ....he has 3 firm cassettes and I am asking him for more info right now but like I said before, this rogue sound engineer doesn't know internet street prices AT ALL and is charging an arm and a leg for commonly found stuff from private servers/forums that he still thinks is rare like the original chronic 2001 demo submitted to The Source magazine to evaluate...he's much more easier to communicate to than arrogant ass max
max is a terrible salesperson...not people friendly at all...Max at least knows internet market prices to give you a decent estimate but talking to him is a bytch and a half because you have to catch him on a good day for him to not spew nonsense rants your way in PMs
again, with cassettes, DATs, and CDs, there's heavy erosion damage from sunlight, floods, moving, dust, fukking shapies etc and we all know what happened to the kobe bryant CD....those 4 songs at the end were unlistenable because the sharpie corroded with the metallic CD material...I basically told him to start digitizing his audio right now
...yeah the sound engr just replied...it looks like he's just going to send over the cassettes for you to rip once bought because he is still raising money to professionally rip the files.....this really sucks...it's basically buyer-beware type deals because it might be not too many things on the cassettes to unearth at all
you can find Max' rants on discord...dude has 57,068 messages on the leakedthis discord

I already posted this a page before this
also, that dude just emailed me one more time...apparently he's a storage wars veteran who just happened to bid on a Dr Dre storage unit full of demos and beat CDs and has no studio equipment to convert DATs and Cassettes into FLACs whatsoever, smh...he's waaay in over his head on this one...I kinda suspected this but didn't post it because had he been a studio engr, he would at least had a backstory on everything he owned...he just knows the generic information like everyone else and can't give out any rarity value prices for the stuff he owns
---
....nvm, maxy#0002 on discord is not MAX on The Source...maxy is just trolling

Hold on. Storage unit of Dre demos and tapes...and Dre/Aftermath doesn’t know? This isn’t gonna end well for whoever buys that stuff and I wouldn’t get involved.
who runs the VIP section and what could be heard that is exclusive?
The reason I ask is because there's this guy on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtZ4VBLJj-IthNc_cG1QmDg/about and after we went back and forth via email (forgodandprofit@gmail.com) a bit, he said that he is a storage wars veteran who just happened to bid on a storage locker full of Dr Dre demos, beats, etc as he wrote on this youtube video title
In his youtube bio, he says that he has the demo for the Chronic 2001 but we all know that bombfirst has that shyt in the VIP section. Anyways, can the people who contribute to the exclusive bombfirst VIP section please contact this guy to see what exclusives that he actually have? The dude is not from leakedthis or www.thesource2.to community so he has no idea what internet prices to set for the stuff that he has (please tell them that jensyao sent you so to not invoke some type of bidding war between me and whoever tries to contact him)...He just knows the generic rarity and popularities of certain rappers like an average fan, but as you can gleam on his youtube bio, he's charging an arm and a leg for simple stuff that is a couple private servers/forums away. He said he wants "life changing money" but please have an expert here talk him down to more reasonable prices.
I could PM somebody whatever emails already transpired between me and him but basically he said that he has no way to convert the DATs and Cassettes into FLAC to digitally preserve them <- this might be a huge bartering chip for us to get in....the people here who have exclusives already have the method down to a science in order to rip rare demos from crazy analog files and restore them to their digital quality. He says he is currently raising money to have the rips done professionally but if someone can take a road trip (I think he is in cali, tbh, based on what times he email me) to his crib and help him digitize all his shyt, we could get a major discount to offset the price that we would have spent purchasing from him had he gotten some middleman to do it.
As we all know, the Kobe Bryant album had sharpie corrosion w/ the CD material that made the last 4 track unlistenable. we don't want that to happen to any of his music but at the same time, he doesn't have the proper tools to even rip it properly into digital format. www.archive.org/details/KobeBryantLP2000 There's a lot of imperfections to analog audio due to sunlight damage, flooding, dust, scratches, etc over the years that it's hard to say what qualities he has
He was telling me either I was either going to buy the DATs, CDs, and cassettes straight up or he's going to professionally rip them and digitize them for a much higher price -- there is no way I am blindly buying a Cassette/DAT with a label without knowing if the tracks he has is actually that rare/on the internet or not...If anyone knows this conversion process, song evaluation process, and could help him out, please use this as a bartering chip to talk him down the prices. The price can also be talked down if people know the market price for leakedthis/the source groupbuy prices. Someone with VIP access also has to tell him which demos are readily available in VIP such as the Dr Dre chronic 2001 demo...we basically need to go raid his stash and evaluate a proper pricing range instead of the crazy figures he's throwing on his youtube bio.
I can probably explain some more but see what you guys can do. Thanks
I already wrote this on bombfirst asking for backup,...they are experts towards restoring long lost 2Pac demos from DATs....i didn't really want to involve the source or leakedthis
I thought about posting this as separate thread to get the Dr Dre fans involved but I'm just trying to discreetly get serious involvement ATM.
He has the Rakim - Oh My God album on 3 CDs and a DAT, mad demos, and 3 cassettes of The Firm sessions for example

What an insane story… wondered where this stuff actually came from. I’m definitely in for any Nas/Firm stuff and I’d love to have that Rakim as well. I’m not paying a “life changing” amount of money LOL, but I’m in to contribute.I already wrote this on bombfirst asking for backup,...they are experts towards restoring long lost 2Pac demos from DATs....i didn't really want to involve the source or leakedthis
