Right? The solo was supposed to drop in 2017, but Spidey showed up and got that shyt pushed back.
They did move it forward to February 2018, so only a few months of a delay.

Marvel is working with another company to make Spiderman happen and has to consult that company on changes to release dates. It's easier to move something you fully control than to try to convince someone else to let you move something you don't fully control.
