He should have won, period. He could have been on some great smug shyt for pinning Ryback and throwing his millions of dollars around - would have been a great segue to align him with PTP. Don't know what the point of last night's match was for him to just get ate up like that. Another missed opportunity, cut at the knees.

Nah Ligs, he'd play that sort of sleezy acquaintance. PTP would be the first to bring the Gold to the trio (Kane/D-Bry about to end soon anyway), they wouldn't be just muscle on some lame APA shyt. He can cop the IC from Kofi via assistance later. He could be that guy that doesn't think he should wrestle, since he beat Ryback, but when he does, he always escapes with some sly victory (foot on ropes, tight pulling, etc.) He has the perfect smug face for it too.

Push him as an oblivious heel who just won't go away even when he loses. Give him lots of camera time, but let's not have him beat anybody who's anywhere near main event level yet.

Him beating Ryback now would be another nail in Ryback's coffin and this is about the worst time for that. I'm not even a Ryback fan, but there's money in him for the foreseeable future (he's main-eventing Survivor Series) and this is the wrong time to flush it down the toilet by having him lose to a guy who isn't over yet.

I shouldn't have said "pinned" but rather "beat." He could have just won by countout due to Heyman causing fukkery (which seemed like they were alluding to when Heyman met with him before the match). He technically wins without Ryback getting pinned and then have him continue with the assault/beatdown/ambulance. Wouldn't have killed any of Ryback's steam (whatever is left of it.) This had potential, but I guess its all moot now.
