I've seen LA Bloods and Crips come to Houston, the gangbangers here don't care about them and the LA nikkas are usually the same.
Got a homie that moved here from LA, he was a Rollin 30 Harlem Crip or whatever, he look at the Texas gangbanging like "I guess" for the most part, respects the nikkas that are solid.

One of my nikkas from Houston that's a Forum Park Crip (local spinoff of 52 Hoover Crip), found himself in a studio full 60s in LA thinking they were gonna trip. He said he told them about Forum Park thinking shyt was about to pop off and they were like "we don't care about no Texas Hoover Crip, you good" and smoked with him. But he said he almost got fukked up by a bunch of kids in football gear like they just came from practice in the 40s in LA, he had to burn out.

hell Houston really don't gangbang anyway, if it's not Braeswood/Taliban or Forum Park Crip I don't really take their gangbanging seriously. It's really hoods and cliques that nikkas get killed over.

I remember back in middle school there were a few blood sets like G-Shine and Red Flag Goonies but them nikkas got washed. Crips never mattered though.

The gangs in my hood are mostly local and have been around for like 30+ years, though we do have OT gangs like Latin Kings and Vice Lords

From they way they talk and dress, people wanna emulate that shyt. No other gang from other cities got that type of popularity like the crips and bloods, they even got non-blacks copying them.

I live 3 hrs south of Chicago, and when a fellow Vice Lord from there comes to Decatur, I make sure to have a fresh haircut, cleanest clothes, and showered & lotioned up. When he goes to the club, I valet park his car myself.
