I agree with your post, but $9 in NYC is not a livable wage. I do somewhat shyt on people who refuse to live and then complain about their living situation. One of my friends out here now works for ROTOROOTER :silvaugh: but is going to be bringing home 60K a year...in GEORGETOWN, KY. Its a dirty job, but even he had to drop that "I'm too good to do this" attitude and as a result gets a shyt load (pun?) of overtime. I understand SOME can't move, but many CHOOSE not to. I DID, MOST CAN. GTFO if your living situation is not what you want it to be and make another plan.The elitism in this thread is crazy. A lot of us actually think we are special or better than cashiers\fast food workers when actually, we're not..
Most of the population is average at best, and in order for the economy to function properly, you need to have people working as cashiers\janitors etc.
But on the flipside, these jobs need to provide a livable wage so that those people have some type of quality of life, which is just simply the socially responsible thing to do....
Not everyone is bringing in that PAPER like @88m3 is
