Not a huge nas fan like that but this is a good look. I love our hip hop legends and classics being revered. Might even cop it my self.

Imma need that 20th anny reasonable doubt in a couple of years tho :mjpls:

I got the original retail and I remember when the 10th anniversary ediition came out and made me feel old...

Why isn't "Nas will prevail" on this? Or any Illmatic re-issue?
Or any of the demo stuff, really: Life Is Like a Dice Game, Deja Vu, Understanding, Everything Is Real. Really surprised they took On the Real back off of it too.

They could make a damn near Lost Tapes caliber 2nd disc here.

They might not have the original master recording of it, and they ain't tryin' to throw some vinyl/cassette rip or J-Love drops on that bytch :russ: Sometimes stuff like that isnt necessarily owned by the label, or even in the artist's own collection anymore.

I remember Clark Kent sayin that about the joints he did with Jay-Z during the Reasonable Doubt era... he was saying there were a lot of joints that couldve made the album and had that same vibe, but they were all on cassettes and he doesn't even have them shyts anymore. There's prob a gang of shyt from artists of that era that we'll never get to hear, or never get a CDQ version of... just sittin' on a 90-minute TDK in somebody's basement. Wu-Tang prob got loads of songs that ain't seen the light of day.

:dahell: that shyt sounds classic, fukk u hating for :camby:

Not hatin, like Hiphopfan456 said
Yea, Song reeks of attempt at a crossover top 40 hit... way outside of Nas's lane :patrice:

But I'm interested to hear the song though, it think it will be dope even if Jay and Nas verses are average, the production and Tim/JT vocals alone should make this song :whoo:

Plus I don't fukk with that song on Magna Carter, this sounds like part two

I'm not buying this again. This is ridiculous.

I love NaS but I purchased this album a good 3 times on multiple formats plus I have "12" singles.....sorry but a young up and coming artist deserves my support.

Nobody's forcing you playa.

Is that the official track list? A little disappointed. I was hoping for the q-Tip remix of memory lane and the alternate version of represent by premo. Eric sermon had a song that didn't make Illmatic but I guess Sony didn't have those Masters. Happy about the one L remix with Sadat X.
