Yeah, he is gonna be a strict x's and o's draw and given the time of the year.
I think, it will do better exponentially than straight outta Compton.
Yet, bp should be as big as a bond and batman movie.
Plus, cast with that type of lead in mind and it is being given a lead.
that is simply not believeable at all as the black panther.
This black panther casting and movie feels like a pisspoor revenue grab.
it even lacks the attention to detail the hudlin brothers had.
In bringing bp to the small screen as a still based cartoon, on bet.

Just like Jaime is just there as the black guy in django.
With Bozeman as the lead.
Imo, it was done.
So, bp would not possibly have the ability to actually draw on par as high as the main draws in the comic world.
When, it actually could and the movie is missing a real lead.
Imo, they did not look hard enough.
Plus, did not do the same type of integral casting.
As they did to find, the perfect Thor, or perfect iron man, or perfect wolvie, or perfect Xavier and mags, etc.
The bp actor choice is just black flavor of the only season they let black film's draw in the past few years.
Bozeman is not the believeable perfect choice.
Nor does it illustrate the time they put into their other flagship characters.
This bp casting is all matter of fact casting.
Similar to all the lame castings they did not put time into.
from ghost rider to anyone not named ironman, cap or Thor.

EDIT: Has there been a non-white female character that played a big role yet in the MCU? Closest I can think of is the Asian lady from Age of Ultron, and her role was really lacking.

good point about Jamie, clearly he's a good actor (albeit more miss than hit) but all the time watching django you can tell he wasn't right for it and only got the part due to being the only black available. Watch him be the first big name never to work with QT in any fashion again (can't say Pitt due to true romance)

Watching him be a comic book superhero.
Is gonna be an exercise in stfu and trying to suspend belief.
Similar to him being James brown..
Yet, you just had to stfu and not ruin the fact.
Bozeman looked as unbelievable as wood Harris as jimi hendrix.
In Jackie Robinson it worked, cause he captured that character.
In James brown it works in suspend belief ideal because it is jame brown and nobody could play James brown visually.
Except for someone's old jb Stan permed out uncle.
Which, did not happen cause all out uncles can't act.
So, Bozeman was a good cast and he fit the spirit of James.
Yet, in bp.
He has to be Bruce Wayne as a ruler meets James bond in a futuristic suit.
In that I don't see it,....
I won't voice my displeasure as much as Ben Affleck as batman.
Yet, I feel it is a similar doomed to fail type casting and I feel the casting is made, purposefully.
to hurt black panther as a property too.
