why is this so difficult for people to understand? we're not upset about him admitting that he's prejudice, that's no surprise to many of us here. it's the fact that all a Black person has to do to arouse suspicion in Mark is have a hoody on, a white person on the other hand has to have the appearance of a neo-nazi, leaving no doubt that they're trouble. a white person in a hoody wouldn't arouse suspicion in Mark but a Black person in that same hoody will.

:ohlawd:

Interesting, when I watched the interview I thought he was saying that's what it would take to arouse suspicion if he were on the other side of the street, meaning if he were the black guy in a hoodie, a bald white guy with face tattoos would make him cross the street. Doesn't matter, even if that's what he meant it's a terrible comparison, because the first example was almost entirely based on race, the second example adds in class, physical characteristics, etc.

I haven't heard one Clipper player/coach/employee say that they were in any way "mistreated" by Sterling... well other than Baron Davis:mjlol:.
How old is that lawsuit? Nobody cared, I don't remember 100+ page threads on :hamster: calling for his head or for players to boycott. Its annoys me that people were more outraged by what he said then by what he actually did. If the NBA had come down on him for the discrimination lawsuit I would have been overjoyed and in light of his history I'm not against forcing him out now, but lets be clear, this "outrage" from the NBA and the public is flawed.

How is the outrage flawed?

bottom line is that, this isn't about Mark's prejudice at all, Mark came out and made those comments to lay the groundwork for him and other NBA owners to vote in favor of Sterling keeping his team because "everybody is prejudiced" and it'd be hypocritical of him to vote a prejudiced owner out when he's prejudiced himself, all this in spite of Sterling vehemently denying being prejudiced or racist.

this is just another example of the "culture" protecting another member of the "culture" and nikkas are so fukking blind and stupid that they don't see that they're yet again being played like fools.

"Mark ain't do nothing but tell the truth" ass nikkas, I hope the NBA owners votes are public and I hope the majority are in favor of Sterling keeping his team just so I can see these same nikkas' reactions.

prior to Cuban admitting prejudice, it was widely accepted that any owner who voted in favor of Sterling keeping the team was basically admitting that they were okay with what he did, but now that he's come out with the "everybody is prejudice" talking point, he and other owners now have tons of wiggle room to vote in favor of Sterling keeping the team, and with all the Black peolpe I've seen cheering on Cuban's comments, none of these nikkas should have a problem with it.

:pacspit:

Black people really out here looking absolutely foolish, and we're too stupid to see it.

i don't even agree with the bald head/tattoos thing. (btw i don't really think he was talking about skinheads, maybe implied)

maybe because i live in a big city and tattoos are so common. do people still think tattoos = thugs/criminals anymore?

the nerdiest hipsters have sleeves now.

How can you not comprehend he is using a regular run of the mill teenager to the WORST elements of he could think of of a white person. is dumb as hell

He is not using Trayvon Martin himself, but the stereotype that people used in that case :mindblown:. You know, the stereotype that we all got pissed off on. He is using the same dumb stereotype in his example.

Yo, this isn't hard. Why am i explaining this?:wtf:

I read that before I hit reply.

"His housing policies - that's discrimination. But simply being a racist owner is not discriminating"

Your trying to argue with me by minimizing what he did in the housing issue.

You didn't answer my question. None of this matters.

Would you be okay with a teacher, saying the same things as Sterling, teaching an all black class?

@ghostwriterx
@polokuo

Ya'll win. Just reply and you get the last word, but, I'm done. Ya'll are arguing to argue.

No, of course not, but that's a piss poor analogy. A teacher responsible for shaping the minds of kids and an NBA owner's relationship with his adult players are nothing alike.

So this nikka Cuban gonna be intimidated by some skinny skateboarding black kid wearing a hoodie while he's walking down Rodeo drive at 12:00 Noon or some shyt? :dahell:

I mean make some sense idiot, how about some context with this nonsense.

Matter fact, I doubt this dude Cuban is walking down any streets where he should be worried about any black person he sees.:aicmon:
