That was fukked up but the NBA today isn't the league 20 years ago, the two leagues have taken different paths one has become more liberal where the players have the power and the other treats its players like garbage.

what 2 different paths have they taken?....you talking about the nba letting players say sterling should be gone? nfl has done that with kaep...players are saying whatever they want about the situation, including saying he should be playing; difference is the nfl doesnt have 1 owner they can go at like sterling....which got $2 bill to go away.....anyway, you talking about the nba letting players wear tshirts in warmups? the nfl has done that with shoes/tshirts in warmups.....or do you mean the nba coming up with the 'united' front of having players lock arms before games? the nfl did that too....

the only players that have done anything like kaep in the nba were both blackballed from the nba...that lets you know how they wouldve handled kaep....

The NBA would embrace a protest, but it would be for excercising the rights of LGBTQ.

Black community only got that pass because of Sterling. One get away free card.

WNBA were fining and taking away a whole cheque but no one said anything about that.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
stop it. NBA has a rule to not protest the anthem and the person making this statement defended Sterling.

The players collectively bargained that rule, trying to put the NBA and NFL on the same level in regards to how players are treated today is laughable and nothing more than deflection :yeshrug:

Not one WNBA player paid a fine. The NBA players paid the first one then Adam silver rescinded the penalties. I believe he allowed the WNBA to continue to wear those shirts.

The NBA is like that job where you work for an old racist white guy in the Tech field...He's passive aggressive, he has his "rules" that he enforces but, he still pays you very very well....Well enough for you to see you should gain monetary value and just kim...and he let's you go about your day......The NFL is that job where you work for an old racist white guy in a sweatshop...He's in your face with his bigotry, he has his "rules" that he enforces, he whips you when you're out of line and pays you peanuts for tasks that warrant you a much bigger payday...But, still we will play dumb about the whole thing.

Look...you're going to deal with racist white men in pretty much all facets of American society...But, you can either finesse and milk your worth from their systems or you can be blatantly exploited and neglected by their systems. That is the big difference between the NBA and NFL.

same cuban who didnt want sterling to be removed fom nba? If a black kid wearing hoodie I GTFO looking ass :mjpls:

he didnt say he didnt want him removed, he said it was a slippery slope and i actually agree to an extent. imagine losing your job things you said to someone in private. say you rant to your significant other that your boss is a fakkit, maybe not in a literal sense, and they are secretly recording you and upload it to social media. these are things that everyone has done in private. do you think its right to lose your job ? his private thoughts are his own no matter how vile. his crime essentially was not controlling his woman.
