Pooling money together and starting a business. Learning a trade and working for yourself, contracting out your skills as a freelancer. I've made money doing that. I know the difficulties that lay ahead any black man in America, but grinding can pay off if you stay positive, conscious and determined. You don't have to join the armed forces and contribute to the military wing of white supremacy to make bread.

Hilariously this conversation is similar to the ones we have about biracial kids. You're American just like those kids are half white. Part of the reason you have the ability to read, write, and engage others on this forum is because of the automatic privilege of being born in a first-world country like America.
i noticed that as black men, alot of us hate on each other.
I would say 85% of brothas who join the military join it not for love of country but for the benefits. That is why there is so many black vets who are living very well. Cuz they took the money the govt gave them and flipped it and became very successful. And I think its good for brothas to join the military if it improves their situation. And also they can take their skills from what they learn from the military and use it to train regular black civilians. There is this ex Marine breh on IG call rogue1831. He is for training black folks how to shoot and how to be in combat situations. He is a true african warrior. Whites already have done that. White militias have told their members to join the military and when they come back stateside to use their skills to teach their fellow white brethren. If there is a racial holy war waged against us I put my trust in these brehs

As black folk we are in a gray area. We are inside the belly of the beast. Don't look down on brehs for joining the military. It's rather they maintain their blackness while in there that counts.
In the Army...me and my brehs kept it nikkarish! The same thing nikkas doing out here on these streets we were doing in the service.
Actually I never experienced any overt racism in the Army from Army personnel. We actually gelled pretty good. They fed us there wasn't any black or white, just green, and that's pretty much how it played out.
The military actually shows how a society can look when everyone is treated equal. All of our pay is the same, promotion is on you, many higher enlisted are black. Now the Officer side is different.
It's only when you're in a cac unit that you feel a little
Myself, enlisted as personnel. It wasn't until a year after I was in and saw the perks combat arms got, that I volunteered for Ranger. In spec ops is where I noticed the covert racism. As I said, it's those 90% cac units where shyt can go down. They treated me like the plague until I made an effort to show them I won't beat their ass for jokes. Got too comfortable and I did have to throttle a cac but...
Got my tabs and went back to personnel.after that they always assigned me to Infantry units.
I've heard the same! The more elite the unit,the whiter the troops so ofc they'd feel comfortable letting their hair down.
