Hold up...now he should only do it when he retires?

You're completely leapfrogging the part with him saying he returned in an effort to rebuild hoping others from his community to mirror his return? How do you jump over that to waiting for him to retire? :mindblown:

How do you skip that part?

Not only do you skip that part, you actually believe him doing that when being retired rather than at the peak of his popularity would do a greater service!!

:banderas:

I'm done here. You want to stay stuck.

I'm not sure what is so confusing to acknowledging facts
The Cavs and the stadium is not in Akron. So how is his play on the court helping Akron and inspire and directly affect the folks in Akron?
His foundation, financial investments, and physical presence in Akron will inspire and directly affect the folks in Akron

In other words, one is a symbolic message and the other is action...both of which could still be implemented while holding Gilbert accountable
OR while doing the action, you are playing on another team

You know the media is going to push it, so what narrative are you guys going with:

1. A man that misses his home
2. A man that bolted from his team when things got rough
Clearly misses his home and they weren't going to get better with him there

Dog...he mentioned NE Ohio...not only Akron. He mentioned the symbolism of coming back and building....something you seem to completely minimize and ignore.

Stay stuck on facts and not the act and what he's asking for in order to hold onto your agenda, breh.
