although being the "best" drug dealer isn't an accolade one should aspire to
if it came down to being the "best".....that claim would NOT go to Frank Matthews whom fate is unknown to this day whom is presumed to went into hiding in either Cuba or Africa or at worst DEAD...
Frank Matthews was truly a wanted man not only by the DEA but the Black Mafia of philly (whom killed three of his capos) and the French Corsician Mafia whom was his first plug.....he became a no. 1 fugitive after he jumped bail on not only the NYPD but the FBI as well and was never seen again
Many are convinced it was the CIA who assisted Frank in his disapperance due to his prolific run as a mule transporting Heroin across the urban centers of the east coast during the time of the FRENCH CONNECTION which eventually was outed as a CIA operation which embarrased the DEA as well as the NYPD with it's corruptive theme.
if thier is such thing as a "BEST OF ALL TIME" black drug dealer that title would have to go to no other than Jamaican businessman Kenneth Black aka SKENG DON...who "fed" alot of hustlas from Miami to New York city as well as London from his homebase in Jamaica and who spent the bulk of his life assimilating from his past life as a well respected "coke don" of the Spanglers Posse in the 1980's into a legit political lobbyist and businessman whom recieves 100's a millions of dollars in contracting fees for his construction business which constructs housing developments for the poor and working class in Jamaica...
He even won a 200 million dollar judgement against the former Prime Minister of Jamaica for slandering him as a "gangster" during a interview with a jamaican newspaper... :russ
skeng don stays winning
$200 million judgement for Skeng Don
Skeng as he is infamously called also was a prominent figure in the dancehall reggae scene when started owning a soundsystem known as Stereomarrs which eventually became an infamous label known as SKENG DON which he moved from it's original home in Kingston jamaica on up to Miami in the early 80's and it's final destination in New York city which gave birth to the careers of some of the most celebrated stars of dancehall today and put out many of these classics for distribution:

His business expertise was as celebrated as his generosity as shown in the dancehall hit "Who seh me dun? (SIX MILLIOIN WAYS TO DIE CHOOSE 1)
"Nuff a dem a pose up like dem a DON..only don me know is the one SKENG DON!!" -Cutty Ranks
and his legend LIVES on today...as he has retired not only from his drug dealing past but has sold his construction firm and now enjoys life as a wealthy philanthropist and donor to the PNP political party of Jamaica...
and now he has his daughter to carryon his legacy whom just was elected President of the PNP political party's Youth branch in Jamaica more than likely a stepping stone to a future illustrious career
My father is my strength, Connoly says of dad Kenneth Black
