Is that Horse? It must be i heard he husky
MF Doom can rhyme his azz off too, but I dont go around name dropping him in GOAT conversations. When Rawkus died that was the end her chapter. She never dropped anything to solidify any need to mention her in the same breath as other female artists.
TBH you're right. Great rappers don't make great albums. Check out her album with 9th tho

U already know what that #1 is.

you' b reaching just to get 3

Mia X's Mamma Drama was dope but comes off like a No Limit compilation

The best of mc lyte has classic songs but thats a best of.

I'd be really reaching if i said Da Brat or Eve's 1st album

Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill is the only universally accepted classic from a female alligned on that Cuban Linx / The Chronic / Doggystyle/Ready To Die classic level. Nothing from Missy, Yoyo, Boss, Gangsta Boo, Trina, Jean Grae, Shawnaa, Foxy Brown, Sole,Rah Digga, Salt N Pepa, Bahamadia, Lady of rage, queen latifah or Lil Kim comes close.
I think Broke With Expensive Taste is a classic but had no universal impact so its reduced to being a personal classic

Let me also ad that 18 yrs later and Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill is aging very well.
Mia x's first no limit album Good girl gone bad is a classic album
Missy's first two album's are classic
Lil kim Hard core is classic

I dont consider lauryn's album a rap album but i'll listen again

00000000000000000000000000013727as someone said

its barely even really a hip hop album to be real

she raps on what 5 out of 16 tracks

i get why its grouped as being a hip hop album but its a big reach

honestly the 2 albums from a female rapper that can be argued as an actual HIP HOP ALBUM and billed as a classic from a female rapper

would probably be lil kim hardcore and foxy brown ill na na

those 2 albums are easily the hardest hip hop albums from a female that both had mass appeal and underground appeal with street and radio singles etc...

personally i think id go hardcore just off the strength of "drugs" and queen bytch

but fox with the promise and the chase

can switch it up depending on the day

Queen Latifah's Black Reign had all that. And overall is a better album til this day to me.

:salute: for the props given to Mia's first album. The storytelling was :wow:.

I don't know about Missy's Da Real World. It really didn't have the impact of the debut, but still might be as crazy. I'd say So Addictive is more arguable than that one. Supa Dupa Fly is still Missy's only claim to a classic though. It's the only one a solid case could be made for.

I could see a case for Hardcore.

Lauryn's album is as much of a rap album as any of Missy's.

Breh, you are reaching like a mug. Queen Latifah had a rap album with a little bit of singing on it, while Lauryn had an R&B album with a little bit of rapping on it.

Lauryn def dropped a hands down classic, but I don't have a problem if peeps don't consider it a rap album.
