They are what would be referred to as multigenerational mixed. Your Lena Hornes of the world would fall into that category as well. But they are "black"..Beyonce's grandparents identified as such and so did Beyonce's parents.

Eric Holder's family.

His wife is "black"..Here is is her sister.

@Poitier Is Chris Rene black? :ehh:

Do you not understand that being mixed puts you under the category of being black. Why do you have such issues with being called black? Do you fight to carry your moms dads last name because your just as much his blood as your dads.

Stop acting like biracial people weren't slaves too .... They have not had it much easier. Imagine being a biracial child back in slavery knowing your father was your master treating you like shyt.....isn't that bad to you? Plus Obama may be biracial but he is just as dark as someone who is not. You think a racist white person care he has white in him? No racist think "half breeds are worse"
biracials (creoles) used to own slaves and not breed with dark skin blacks how do you think they got so lightskin

But he comes from a Creole family like Beyonce and his father's side of his family identified as black. :ehh:

His grandfather is the only Black person in his family. So once again dude is like 15-20% Black and looks like a White man. It's the reverse situation of Beyonce.

I think people should be identified as what they are. Period.

If you're black, you're black. If you're white, you're white. If you're mixed, you're mixed.

Not rocket science here.

But everyone is mixed, so at what percentage do you acknowledge it?
