( o Y o )
yeah the ending had peeps in the theater Boo'ing

yea cuz I bet most of them read the book and if you did then you know exactly what happens when Smaug leaves the mountain.

But if anyone has any doubts about the 3rd movie...it should be damn near all action-packed. Basically nothing but battles/war.

Just saw it :obama:

A lot better than the first one :gladbron: People were actually clapping at the ending I guess no one at the movies I was at actually read the book :snoop:

For such a long movie it really went by quick and it didn't feel like it had a lot of filler :manny:

I'll give this 8/10 and the first one probably 6/10

So I went into the office today and caught this when I got off

1st off, I saw the baddest Indian chick ever before the movie, 5'10ish tall, nice thickness like a latin chick with an ass and an amazing face
I know all them Indian dudes in line was like

Had me like
:noah:

Back to the movie...

I prolly stand alone when I say this but...

This was the best movie of the series, including the original LOTR
:whoo:

The action, the story

That Godzilla Trailer in IMax was AAAAmazing
I was literally like
:banderas:
I got the chills when Godzilla Roared

Interstellar's was nothing special, just narration on our space history and M-Mac driving

Im'ma def have to check out that Mitty movie

My dude Bilbo put in work, gotdayam

I suffer from Arachnophobia so that spider scene had me shook
:merchant:

My only issue is nobody die'n
all this crazy shyt and nobody died
I bet if Peter Jackson had his way
Ned Stark wouldn't of died in the 1st LOTR

That Female elf is what humanized Legolas to who he was in LOTR
at 1st he had his dads views but by the end of the trilogy he will see the light

I also believe she is either gonna die or ride off happily ever after with the Elf
I think death
:manny:

I actually Liked the ending
Makes me really anticipate the 3rd

Just finished the book so I was hyped for the movie. I thought it was really cool how they tied together LOTR with this through the Gandalf side plot. For those asking - it's NOT explicity in the book but everything is part of Tolkien's OG story except the elf girl falling for Kili.

The barrell scene, Smaug scene and spiders were all piff.

I thought this one was very good in staying true to the source and the third one should be awesome. I'd put it just below the OG trilogy in terms of quality, but a big improvement on the first hobbit. :obama:

I was just thinking,
(Only read half The Hobbit and got bored with it)

Since Gandolf now knows Sauron is building an Army
How is this gonna transition into the 1st of LOTR
Cause in the beginning of the trilogy he was so non-nonchalant going into the shire like the world was great
Then tack on the fact that many years might have passed since the end of The Hobbit and Part 1 of LOTR
Is he somehow gonna defeat Sauron in The Hobbit Part 3?
Someone who finished the book fill me in please
