Actually, I think that particular cat really was thankful I’d feed him every day and be sociable and chill with him. Like, he’d always come around to see what I was up to. When I let em in, they just chill n sleep. If they hear someone at the door they don't go wild, they just wait in the cut and growl

I didn’t say dogs are needy, I just said the cat required less of my time and responsibility. And I’ve owned both cats and dogs so I’m familiar with raising dogs

the great thing about cats is their random need for attention/affection but at the same time being extremely independent.

this picture my cat randomly just layed on my foot and flopped on his back signaling he wants belly rubs. as soon as i rubber his belly and gave him some attention he dipped out to the basement to chill.
