Look through these photos and check out all the people mixed with black. Except for two, all of them checked black on census ignoring their other mixes. Now look at the people mixed with white and what they checked on the census. Noticeable difference. White supremacy and hypodescent is what we practice in the West. That's the automatic assignment of mixed raced people to the subordinate group.

How does it prove your point when he's viewed in da history books as da first BLACK president nikka? :wtf:

And we not eam gone touch on da flagrant racist venom thrown at him since he stepped foot in da oval office. :stopitslime:

Breh stop. :camby:
actually he's viewed that way because there's still old ass cacs that still go by the one drop rule in the country, we still have rural and southern areas that are backwards and unable to identify PROPERLY. They are outdated. point blank.

But proof is in the pudding, he got elected whereas a pure black person running, like a herman cain, wouldnt.

mixed people are not treated the same as pure black, you and I both know that man. Halle Berry is a sex symbol...how many dark skin women are at her status. How many white men chase her, but show me a dark skin woman that's praised in the same light.

It's only confusing to you because you are one race and can not wrap your mind around being 2. Many people can't. They are biracial, a hybrid, they are only asked to choose because people want to put people in brackets, and they cross lines, which blocks people from doing that. But, in reality, they ARE able to cross lines and be both. It's only confusing to everyone ELSE. To them, they are just both, if anything they must be frustrated people keep asking "which do you ID with", then when they say both, peoples brains go haywire. :heh:

No, what I am confused about is why AA are so divided when it comes to mixed people. Not sure how it is exactly in the States but where I live people are just mixed/biracial and that is the end of it. I never call my mixed friends black because they are both of white and black ( white+black biracials of course).

Sounds like they can't win. I am confused about the way AAs see mixed folk. You have some who don't like them calling themselves black because it they don't want whites to bunch them all together but then I see a lot say they are black and will be treated like so, therefore, they should only call themselves black. Which one is it then?
Both blacks and whites say that mixed children are black. The confusion lies when you have a mixed muthaphucka that wants to fully integrate within CAC society and the CACs remind them that they aren't white. That mixed muyhaphucka will turn around and hate/resent black people for the CACs not accepting them. A white person will not view a mixed person as anything but black and that eats at those c00n mixed folks that are dying for white acceptance. Hence they become an island.

i agree in the future it will be like that. we all will be 'american'.. but that's very far in the future
it'll happen fast trust. During my moms teenage days, whites were calling black ******s in the open. One generation later they dare not. By the time you're a grandfather, it'll have changed.
