I've accepted its going to be whats its going to be. Thats why I advocated traded Whiteside, not because I dont like him but If you wont use him get something for him. Only criticism I have is he doesnt sell out for boards or blocks like he used to.

Winslow needs to go somewhere that he can have a coach get behind him and encourage him to be aggressive regardless of mistakes like what he had in college. His play style is a shell of what made him a lottery pick, just sets screens and stands in the corner.

Whiteside is best when he is aggressive on both ends. The coaching stuff told him stop looking for blocks so he just doing what he is told. He used to get caught out of position sometimes but a lot of times his length and his ability to react was quick enough to make up getting caught.

I think the reason he doesn’t even have the same energy is every time he makes a mistake and does something wrong he get pulled ASAP. He never get the benefit of the doubt or the chance to work thru his mistakes/issues.
So if you no you can’t make a mistake without getting pulled you start over thinking and stop playing and being the guy you uses to be.

Look at how Spo did JRich no matter what he kept him out there even when he was struggling with his shot even when he was getting burned by guys he let him play. Now JRich is playing like we all thought he could but he had to struggle to get there.

Winslow & Whiteside just don’t get that same benefit.

Have Winslow just chillin in the corner when you no that’s not his game. Winslow needs to ball in his hands to best max his polental but with Dragic JJ, TJ, JRich & now Wade Winslow will never have the ball in his hands as a playmaker so he is stuck being a Shane Battlier like you said set screen and sit in the corner.

JJ & Winslow are to similar and hell there fight for minutes since Spo is dead set on making Winslow a small ball 4. Someone needs to move with Kelly & Bam getting time at that position as well

They need to make a decision. Are we playing big full time with Kelly or Bam and use small ball in spurts or play small and use are big lineup in spurts. But it’s not fair for all four of those dudes to have to be fighting for minutes because Spo can’t make up his mind on who should play. Just too much flip flopping at the 4 position. Which screw up people’s roles

I like Spo he is not a bad coach but like I said before but he is stubborn and struggles to make adjustments a lot there is no damm reason this team for years even before the big 3 era continually are :scust::trash:during the third quarter of games. I have never heard the media call him out what is going on at halftime that this happen. The team lack of energy effort and overall they look like there walking in quicksand in so many of these third quarters.

We should have never brought in JJ though, we can't have it every different way. Can't sign guys then hope they fail for Winslow to succeed. If we want Winslow to succeed, don't bring in that comp in the first place. The team has lacked vision for years.
That streak last season was the worst thing that could have happened .

ASK IRA: Has Spoelstra-Whiteside become Loughery-Seikaly 2.0?

Ira WindermanContact ReporterSun Sentinel
Q: There are two ways to motivate. Positive reinforcement for behavior you want to encourage. Negative reinforcement for behavior you want to discourage. It is generally accepted that of the two, positive reinforcement works better in the long run. However, you should at least try one of the two. With Hassan Whiteside, Erik Spoelstra uses neither. If Whiteside is doing great, he sits. If Whiteside is doing poorly, he sits. It doesn't even seem to matter when the team is doing poorly with Whiteside on the bench, Whiteside still sits. The message seems to be: I don't care how you play, I just don't like you. How does that possibly get the best out of anyone? -- Andrew, Coral Gables.

A: If you'll recall, it was Jan. 29, after the victory, when Hassan Whiteside dominated in the victory over the Dallas Mavericks, that he spoke of his hour-long meeting with Spoelstra, how the two had cleared the air. Since then, the minutes have been limited, even after Spoelstra mentioned the need to play Whiteside and Bam Adebayo together more often. The most troubling element is that the latest limited minutes have come with Kelly Olynyk out, further opening time in the power rotation. It would have seemed that once the trading deadline passed, another meeting of the minds would have made sense. Instead, the lasting impression going into the All-Star break was Whiteside sitting in the locker room in Philadelphia discussing the desire for more minutes after the break. It's as if it's Kevin Loughery-Rony Seikaly 2.0.

Finally someone in the media is questioning why Whiteside isn’t playing enough

The Tank Boys may be coming back :wow:
#BlowItUpGang :banderas:

I wanted to believe but some of these last games had me looking at the team like :jbhmm:

Spo wont let our arguably best player get any burn, Poor management of the squad, Dumb ass rotations. After all these years we still have the same 3rd quarters meltdowns plus an horrible cap situation (that tj contract is awful) :francis:

It might be time to blow it up for real... the fact that no move was made before the trading deadline (besided getting Wade back)
It might be time to blow it up

#TANKWAVE we byke :blessed:

We already gave JJ & Dion money now they are talking about probably giving Ellington a similar type deal.
Treadmill status in full effect

Whiteside is likely gone and we already heard rumors of Winslow being packaged with a bad contract.
So both are on the hot seat and I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both are gone next season.

When they say ooo your not going to be traded ooo you are the future in Winslow like Pat said.
That’s mean your ass is on the block if a good deal comes along.

So JRich & Bam are our core going forward now

Damm Spo watch Whiteside & Winslow ball out somewhere else
They both just need a change of scenery
Spo and his positioness smallball style of play just doesn’t allow Winslow & Whiteside enough of there skill and overall talent and ability.

We are a team with Whiteside, Bam, Olynyk even Jordan Mickey play well in spot minutes early on but let’s always play small and always flip/flop JJ and Winslow at PF and not take advantage of the size we have.

I'm convinced this is something personal. Something happened off the court that made spo despise Hassan. Maybe he asked his wife what that mouf do:TrollHassan:

I think it was a Pat & Andy decision to bring Whiteside back and Spo didn’t have a say.
Spo always calling out or going at Hassan no matter what more then any other guy on the team.
I dont heard him going at Dragic or when Dion and Richardson where struggling he kept saying there getting there shots there just not dropping.
The most I heard him say about Dion was has to do more and that was maybe once or twice.

Like I said he never gets the benefit of the doubt he can never have an off game or make any mistake without getting pulled.

Now with both Bam and Olynyk around it’s easier for Spo to bench him and say the other guys gave us the best chance to win or I just rode the hot hand.

When even Ira pointed out even when Whiteside does great he still gets benched.

How are Bam & Whiteside post to learn how to play together if you won’t play there ass together.

Honest some guys have to get moved just so it opens up more minutes for others so your not juggling minutes/lineup for everyone. We are 10 deep but outside of Whiteside, Bam and Kelly we are just too guard/wing heavy. We all no Spo can out think himself at times. If Spo could he would just start all guards and wings.
