Sunday I bought a box of Little Debbie Nutty Buddies...ate two whole ones and left the box in the car. Monday morning as I was driving to work, I ate one stick, felt disgusted with myself and ended up tossing the one that was left and the rest of the box out the window into the woods. I felt bad for littering but I know I was about to smash and I had to get that shyt away from me quick.

Why not just enjoy the thing you like in moderation? That way, you wouldn't feel a need to gorge.

Speaking as someone who dropped a decent amount of weight. Once you get going that works against your natural urges. That method clearly didn't work before (in some cases) so why try now?

It seems counter-intuitive but I see why people do it.

I would think denying yourself completely would make the cravings even worse (which leads to gorging), but people have to do what works for them in the end, I suppose.

I honestly don't think that way. I don't know why, I wish I did but it's like in my mind I'm like "I'm only giving myself one meal to eat this shyt" So I just eat as much as I can stand before sense kicks in and I realize what I'm going to have to log into myfitnesspal. 450 calories left for the whole day and it's only 10am

If I give myself an entire cheat day, myfitnesspal won't see none of that. Let's just skip this whole day for real.

Depends:

Once you get rolling the power of the losses or gains can outweigh the cravings because the goals seem more attainable.

Once you get past that initial stage the gains/losses become more difficult. That's the point where people need to switch to something more along the line of moderation.

Dealing with it myself :noah:
