No hate, but can you really say this was the greatest high school football team ever? Putting aside being champion (which they were), I would think that the greatest high school team every would be delivering much bigger beatings than these guys seemed to deliver. Some of these games were damn close.

They had 6 nikkas play in the NFL. Could've been more because 3 High School All-Americans went to prison.

18 players got D-1 football scholarships. (Never been done since)

No high school ever since had 4 High School All-Americans on the defensive side of the ball.

The games were close because teams couldn't score on their defense.

And this was 1988 way before the spread light'em up offenses. A lot of the games was low scoring.

Unless I'm mistaken, didn't the ones that were sentenced to 15+ years end up spending "only" four or five years in prison? When they were showing how long they served, it didn't seem even close to the time they were sentenced for.
