Lavine is a SG,he was out of position at PG,but if need be he could be a Westbrook type at PG,not an high IQ,but could get a handful of assist and get the job done.
Book is not a PG,he is a shooting guard, nothing like Harden either, much much closer to Klay Thompson.
Teague had the POTENTIAL to be a top 5 PG,weren't you just talking about potential? My point with Teague was no matter how much potential a guy has if he doesn't reach it then it means nothing,Book has to reach it first,he hasn't even had a full season under his belt as a starter and you trippin hard, let em get a season under his belt first and then we can predict certain things about him.
Booker is nothing to write home about yet either 13,2,2 on 34% 3 and 42% FG is decent, yea it looks better because he's 19,but other than that it's nothing close to special,I'll see how he does this year and go from there,I think Booker can be good, but all-star games and all nba teams i see none of that yet
I never said Booker was a pg.I said late last season, the Suns started him a PG a few games because they recognized his decision making skills.
Klay is a catch and shoot guy.Booker is already miles ahead of him when it comes to ball handling/creating his own shot.
Klay was assisted on 80% of his shots last year....Booker only 44%
Low Key, Booker's not only a shooter. He's just as much a penetrator. He was top 10 in the league for points in the paint post all star break. He's better at drawing fouls, also.
As a starter post all star break, he averaged 5 FTA's a game.....compared to 2 FTA's per game for Klay
You keep throwing 13 2 2 out there, but what about the 21 4 4 he put up when he became a starter?
The only thing he really has in common with Klay is skin tone....They're two different kinds of players.
He's more similar to Harden IMO
