Avengers all day. X-Men got sonned damn near every episode in The Animated Series Wolverine and Magneto are the only ones I see putting up a worthy fight. Soon as Jean got hurt Cyclops simpin ass would be so distraught he'd get got quick.
Magneto has already punked both of these teams out in fantastic fashion. They are playing a gimmick where his powers aren't at their real levels which is why he's not solving all of the X-Men's problems in two panels. But Wanda is not gonna be stopped by anything. The Phoenix characters weren't born with the Phoenix. Wanda has stopped Ultron and some of the most powerful magical villains in history when it came down to it.
Cosmic Phoenix forces were added and some characters weren't full powered. They had a Magneto and Iron Man stop because of the Phoenix coming to earth or some weird shyt like that.

Every Avenger ever?!?!? You nikkas do realize cosmic power houses like Mantis, Quasar, Moondragon, Sersi, Nova, Dr. Strange, Starfox, Jack of Hearts, Photon were/are all Avengers? Sersi is a reality warper, she can turn all the X-Men into blueberry muffins at the start of the match.......
No X-Men member without plot device power up is seeing ANY of those Avengers AT ALL. This is a complete stomp. Hell even Mr. Fantastic & Invisible Woman were once Avengers.....
And this is then ignoring Avengers like the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Hercules, Black Panther, Wonder Man, Scarlet Witch.........
The X Men's only chance of winning if they are spotted team members at their highest power levels ie Pheonix Jean/Rachel, Shaman Nate Grey, Jesus Cable, Juggernaut Colossus, Magneto with no power hang ups, Death Wolverine, New Son Gambit, Vampire Storm, Asgardian powered up Ice Man, Valkyrie Moonstar.
But then do the Avengers get Odin Thor, Binary Carol Danvers, Cosmic Spider-Man, War Hulk???
Sorry fellas, the Avengers outclass the X Men in strength (Hulk, Thor, Hercules), speed (Quicksilver, Photon), magic (Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange), tech and prep (Hank Pym, Tony Stark, Black Panther), hand to hand fighting, (Cap, Spidey, Black Panther, Mantis) energy manipulation (Quasar, Sersi,)and telepathy (moondragon has better feats than ANY telepath on the current x roster). The X-Men has ZERO tactical or power advantage.........

!t depends on the teams, plot dev!ces & whos at full power..... none of them ever fought to the!r full potent!al.... mags can lock onto the !ron !n your bloodstream & reverse !ts flow... the w!tch can say "no more mutants" & see whos depowered.... send rogue out naked, only a few gon dare to get close.... mag!k got a whole d!mension of demons & !f she gets an avenger there shes Godlike.... avengers got deadpool, lol...

The Avengers All-Star team at their normal power levels can probably take out the X-Men All-Stars at their normal power levels.
BUT if Magneto is considered an X-Man, him at his normal power levels will take out many of the Avengers within the first few seconds of the fight by expanding the iron in their blood til they vaporize, like he did to those cats who were the next evolution of mutants a few years ago.
Next, the Avengers do not have the tactical advantage. Cyclops is a far better tactician that Captain America. Cyclops is a ruthless leader and that's what people are now realizing in 2012. Cap is far too naive.
In the end it will be The Hulks, Thor, and Sentry vs. The X-Men. I don't think that that's a fight the X-Men can win without plot devices. Their telepaths can MAYBE stop Sentry but Thor and the Hulks? X-Men don't have limitless strengthers and I very much doubt they can stop Thor. Maybe if Legion is sane enough for a few minutes to utilize his many skill sets.
