Well the end product is the return of Christ in his glory.

So no one figured out how to get to the nearest star yet?

If we send a few dozen people right now we should get there in a couple hundred thousand years, people will die and be born on the ship but atleast mankind will flourish and survive somewhere else when Earth is dead and gone

we are just babies...even the smartest people are mere retards.

but look how far we have come in so little time...but what spurs our progress?

our progress comes from conflict.

rockets...why did we invent them?

radar...why did we discover and use it?

atomic power...

the internet...

all of this came from humans wanting to kill other humans or trying to stop other humans from killing them.

the irony is that these discoveries will one day surpass their original intentions and be used for a much greater purpose is what i truly hope for.

:fukall:
In comparison to what?? (the bold)

....Or our inventions will kill us and not spin from harmful to helpful

I don't even know if we will make it that far breh, I know that humanity has always found a way to survive until now but with the shyt going on...

(in no particular order)

- Climate change (it's June right now and it's as cold as in March here in France :beli:)
- Conservatism and nationalism on the rise everywhere
- Unemployment on the rise in Western countries (a direct effect of switching to a more service-based economy) leading to extremism, exclusion...
-Religious extremism coming back :aicmon:
- China on the come-up and already well established in Africa, Asia, Europe and America...another player with worldwide ambitions
- Social interactions changing due to people being hooked on their computers etc.
- Arms being ever more deadly...and accessible

and more...I'm not very optimistic about how we as humanity will go forward but I seriously doubt that "humanity" will be saved. If anything, whoever is rich enough at that point in time will maybe be able to organize some kind of escape from Earth, but the vast majority of people will either be dead by then (poverty, conflicts etc) or just left behind.
