Curry is a better PG than rondo
Dude has no where near the court vision of Rondo. That's what PGs have. He plays PG cause of size and frailty.

I somewhat agree with the bolded but Curry averaged 8.5 assists last season and 6.9 apg before that... those are pg numbers. He could play sg against some teams because it's probably the weakest position in the league right now and some teams like Suns use 2 pg's in their starting lineup... But Curry is a point guard. Just being a bad defensive player and great shooter doesn't make him a shooting guard. Same two things could've been said about Steve Nash but that doesn't make him a shooting guard.

Assists are not an indicator of being a PG. Kobe racks up assists sometimes, and Wade likewise. I'm pretty sure most of Curry's assists are from doubles like theirs are. Rondo aint getting doubled unless he is driving. He makes plays all over the court and racks up assists.
Rondo when healthy averages well over 10 assists per game and almost 2 steals per game. And he averages close to 5 or 6 rebounds per game. He's the closest PG to J Kidd in the league today.
You CANNOT be serious in arguing that Curry is a better PG than Rondo.
I wasn't saying Curry is a better pg than Rondo, just that Curry is more a pg than a sg. I personally like Rondo more because of his defense & because I like pass first pg's in general.
and tbh Rubio might be closer to Jason Kidd than Rondo

I see the C's offering Rondo a 5-year deal that starts at around 15-16 mil. Considering the cap increases next year, anda big one in 2016, that'll be a bargain. If he leaves, he will lose his Bird Right's and can only sign a 4-year and his max will start of around the 15 mil. He will lose money and an extra year. The Celtics have leverage in his FA.

Step up his individual performance in the playoffs. Average damn near a tripe double in the playoffs. Lead his team past the 2nd round of the playoffs. Step up in the big moments instead of looking like a deer in headlights when the game's on the line.

you're kidding right? Rubio hate here is unbelievable sometimes. some people were saying JJ Barea is better than him & that he won't be in the league in a couple of years... and this was like a year or 2 ago

Rubio is nice with the dimes but to even compare Rubio to Rondo, never mind J Kidd is absolutely foolish.
Rondo's a better scorer. Rondo gives more assists. He's a better rebounder. Rubio gets more steals but Rondo is still a better one on one defender. Rondo is a better leader and more of a floor general.
