I use a wooden wide tooth pick. My beard is down past the lower portion of neck /upper chest region. Put your clippers away and wolf out, shampoo wash beard once a week and co-wash daily with conditioner. I also use a shower comb to detangle while in the shower. I used to use the fancy beard products but I'll use natural olive oil, Jamaican castor oil, Shea butter and coconut oil. S-curl (don't laugh) has a decent beard line of products that I use. I have the oil and beard balm I'll pop in my gym bag and use after shower.

Genetics are the number 1 factor if you can grow a beard, rest, diet and exercise to follow in sequence of importance

I would also get the beard wash at least. I use all four: Wash, conditioner, balm, and oil.

I'm no expert lol...but I like the results:
