I'm reading one right now on my phone. Dude master was going broke, so he told his slave to run away to Kentucky to his brother to claim him before the state comes in and takes away his possession, including his slaves. Dude went all got close to the Ohio River and ran into a town of free blacks. They told dude that he would be a fool to go to Kentucky and listen to his master wishes. I couldn't get mad at the dude for having conflicting thoughts about choosing freedom or going to his master brother in Kentucky, cuz in those days it was death to think about running away etc. but what got me heated was that he was in that bible so heavy that he thought he was going against God. Dude was so shook that he told the other slaves to be quiet get on the boat and go to Kentucky. Next page he said he regretted not staying with the free blacks. I'm still reading it but the stuff that going on today is extacly what was going on 150 yrs ago. Nothing changed brehs. most of us are mentally ill have Stockholm syndrome and totally confused. To many fukked up stuff went in dude life. White men beat his mother when she was crying to not have them sell him away. Too heavy man.

And thing that got me really heated is what they would do to kids. Dude was sick and nobody could help him. He said that he was crying and moaning for help and water, but the slaves were so conditioned that it was normal to see kids starve out and die. Lucky enough the ppl that sold him off brother came by to buy him and the master he was with said to him "I was scared that the little ****** would die". The kid was 6 years old. 6 years old treating a child as a object. White people are so damn sick and I hope one day we hold them accountable for what they have done to us. I can see the very reason they never teach us black folks any of the stuff that goes on in 1800s and up.

To make it crazy, most of us our Great Grandparents were born in the 1800s.
