How should blacks spend their "spending power"? Is there any evidence to suggest that black people have less responsible spending habits as a whole than any other group?

There are large pockets of Brooklyn and Uptown where there are tons of Black businesses, either by AAs or immigrants.

Gentrification is a buzz word but while yall are glorifying Chinatown, yall don't even realize that Chinatown is gentrifying at a faster rate than those Black areas. Hell, a large portion of the patrons of Chinatown businesses are not Asian......a signifier of things to come.

I do think we could use our contemporary culture to better sell our brands and services.

It really is difficult to watch other races prosper as we continue to fight to just be seen as human. I don't want to point fingers because ultimately its OUR responsibility, as a people, to prosper....BUT the policies/laws/ideologies passed by liberal democrats have been nothing but a hindrance to our success.

Sure racist whites have been a big hindrance to black people success. But it has nothing to do with liberal policies. Those policies aren't stopping other races from finding success.

One of the big problems black people have is too many of us dream of being millionaire celebrities(nothing wrong with that but the reality is that's going to happen for less than 1% of black people) as opposed to trying to be upper middle class which is a much more realistic goal. So of course when those 99.8% of people fail to become millionaire celebrities they have nothing to fall back on so they are stuck in the hood either unemployed or making minimum wage.

Also let's be honest way too many of us have a hood mentality. Needless to say that when your mind isn't right it's going to be hard to be successful.
