Sounds like they've already started the media spin job on this one. Per the below article, they insinuate that Boyd was acting uncontrollably and that the police tried to calm him down because neighbors called 911. He attacked the police and injured three of them. Which led to a fight in which this man was so badly beaten that he died of his injuries three days later.

That would be bad enough since three grown men should have no issue taking down one man without damn near killing him on the spot. Unless they had intentions on doing so. Not to mention, they could have easily tased him and handcuffed him...avoiding all the extra sh#t.
But the issue is that others who knew this man are telling a very different story of the encounter. They say that Boyd himself called 911 due to someone trying to break into his house. He was confronted by the police at his home, who most likely used the convenient excuse of believing he was the intruder, and began to assault this man. To the point that he was brain dead at the hospital and died days later.
In fact, this has been posted on social media already, yet every article matches the narrative of the link above from the Baltimore Sun.
