I feel sorry for you bro

I once lost my harddisk with 1000's of Albums on it.
I'm rebuilding my collection now. It had a lot of trash on it to though.

I once lost 1000s of samples, when I downloaded a file called "Samples" and it overwrite my sample file with the same name :mjcry::mjcry::mjcry:

I wanted to cry brehs, but in a way it helped me because it stopped me from using the same old samples in every tune

Still some rare ones I couldn't find again tho :francis:

As far as my own beats, I'm forever finding shyt I thought I had lost. I don't have good housekeeping on that front.
I was keeping a 'potential samples' folder though of albums which totalled around 19,000 tracks in it...I deleted that INTENTIONALY though....:snoop:.... Wish I hadn't now!!

Make a fake gmail account (or use your regular one) it gives you 15 gb of online storage. All of my project files and my favorite vst n drums are uploaded for safe keeping. Do that

My mpc don't even have a zip drive attached. I make like 10 killer album quality beats and turn it off and poof they are gone. Sometimes the thing won't start. But I do it for practise. I've learned to let go of things and always work to make beats better than the last. It's a mental excersice in perfecting my skills...

Only started doing this because my macbook went down and I couldn't use logic or any other daws for a while. I'm having more fun than ever to be honest.

Not only did I lose the computer, I had to haul like 3 heavy pcs up some stairs, deal with decade old plug bullshyt. Now I'm on a computer that can't even run fruityloops let alone any other fukk around inbrowser shyt. I have my vinyl stacks and SP, but shyt lost all my samples and momentum I guess :patrice:

so many late night smoke/beat sessions...memories :wow:

Made some sort of recovery, saved the last 12 beats on a CD. But now for anything above coli bs I have to use some garbage pawn shop laptop my little brother has :snoop:
